MOTORBIKE RACING - TRACK RACING TRAINING

scooter racing

Similar to drag racing, motorbike track racing is a motor sport for modified and customized motorbikes on closed and offically inspected racetracks designed for motorsport racing such as karts or other small motor vehicles. This discipline, known in France as « Vitesse » (Track Racing), has been around since the early 1990’s and has experienced increased popularity today thanks to many clubs and volunteers as well as companies like Maxiscoot that invest time and resources to help promote motorbike racing.

Motorbike racing events take place on kart racetracks or purpose-built motorsport racing tracks. Up to 40 drivers assemble on the starting line with the aim to finish first after a set number of laps or a limited time. The biggest event in France is the Trophée Grand Ouest (Greater West France Trophy) in which more than 100 drivers participate in each race !
